How does the diagram show the relationships between primary, secondary, and tertiary colors? Kelly showed the relationship between her primary colors by giving those colors a star. Secondary colors were labeled with a hexagon, and tertiary colors labeled with a square.
How does the diagram incorporate photographs of color?What information does this add to the diagram? Kelly inserted her photographs on the column to the right of her rectangular diagram. Adding texture to her design.
How does the diagram explain saturation, color temperature, and contrasting hues? Kelly’s diagram, explains saturation, color temperature and contrasting hues through the visuals presented in her diagram as well as the typography put in place to label throughout her design.
Do you feel that typography is well-integrated into this diagram design? Explain. I do feel Kelly did a good job when implementing typography in her design. She uses typography to provide additional labels to help the viewer better understand her diagram.
Are there any areas you think could be improved in this design? This was one of my favorite designs which is why I chose to critique it. I felt it was a very strong example for the assignment given.
What are the strongest components of this diagram design? I think Kelly tackled this assignment in a great way. It’s a great visual for the eyes and the additional labels make it easy to read and understand. Great execution overall in my opinion.
